HF2 at Gunsite works great!
Tucker Holster...A Big Thumbs Up! I recently bought a Tucker HF2 and have to say I am very impressed with it. I bought the HF2 vs the HF1 since I carry several different length barrels and found it reliably held all sizes of 1911 I put into it. If anyone is considering a holster I would strongly recommend Tucker. I have two holsters and a mag carrier from them. The fit and finish is wonderful and everyone there is a pleasure to deal with. The HF2 was sparked by my need to have an OWB holster to take to my week long pistol class at Gunsite. I was a little nervous about taking a new holster to the class without testing it but I'm a risk-taker. I did bring a backup just incase but never needed it.

The holster was a great fit. I found it very comfortable wearing it from the time I got up in the morning to when I went back to bed. It held the gun close to the body, ideal for concealed carry, but still easy to draw from. During my stay at Gunsite we had a combination of cold weather, rain, and snow. The holster held up to all conditions without hesitations. The retention was great while allowing a quick draw. I saw several people buying various Galco and Bladetech holsters at the Pro Shop, but none seemed as nice as the Tucker.

Several people commented on the holster and several even wrote the name down for later use. I was really surprised by the comments from the instructors. These guys have seen just about every holster made and they where still impressed. I had one instructor write down Tucker's URL and said he would order one the next chance he got. If anyone is debating between a Tucker and a lesser manufacturer, let me take the guess work out. Buy the Tucker, you won't regret it. I look forward to owning more Tucker products in the future.
