Comments on the Texas Heritage IWB

"I just received my Tucker Texas Heritage IWB and 1.5" belt for my 1911 today, less than one week after my order.

The holster fits my Gov't Model perfectly and has great retention while I'm wearing it. The kydex clips are spaced perfectly and spread the weight of the pistol over most of my right hip. With the clips at 2:30 and 4:30, the whole rig virtually disappears under an untucked t-shirt.

The belt will take some time to break-in, of course. It's very stiff laterally and longitudinally and offers great support. I've learned the hard way that a cheap belt will make the best holster perform poorly, so I'm happy to finally have a custom made leather gunbelt. (I have been using a Wilderness Instructor's belt and while it's a great product that I will continue to use with some of my holsters, it's just not appropriate for 'business casual' environments. This new belt from Tucker will fill that role nicely.)

For the price, I think it would be hard to find a better belt/holster combo of this quality."

"The Tucker Texas Heritage is the thinnest leather holster I've worn. It's also the most comfortable. I do have a box of holsters and a lot are big names." Jim Linch, 1911Forum 04/21/2004
Check out Tucker Gunleather. I have two of their Texas Heritage model, one for my G22 and one for my Para Tac Four, neither of which are tiny guns. I can conceal them under a dress shirt in the office no problem, and they are secure and comfortable. Good folks to deal with, too.Khornet5/28/2004
One Very Satisfied Customer
"Received the Texas Heritage today. You have one very satisfied customer. It fits the BHP like a glove, tucks in tightly, draws with no drag and is comfortable to wear. Workmanship is top notch." Thank You, Vic 09/22/2003
More good words on Texas Heritage

"Great Holster, Great Service. Check out TonerGuy in the Holster/Accessory forum. Texas Heritage carries great in jeans and cargo shorts. It is a tuckable model and I can carry with a tucked in t-shirt with a little attention to what I am doing. I usually carry with a camp shirt during warmer weather.
It is comfortable, secure, and very concealable. I haven't even considered an OWB since I rarely have a coat on all the time. The Texas Heritage works for me."

Texas Heritage Report
"First, it “wears” better than any other holster I’ve tried. I’ve already readjusted the rear clip to try a different holster cant. It also fits my pistol very well, securing the pistol better than other holsters. All in all, I am very pleased with the Texas Heritage. When I get a new pistol, I think I might try your pancake holster. I have already mentioned your web site to others I know, and will continue to do so.

Thanks for providing good customer service. It’s getting rare these days."

Tuckable Texas Heritage
Tucker Gun Leather ... I have Tucker's Texas Heritage (leather holster with Kydex belt clips) in my stable 'o holsters ... and absolutely love it's fit for me and my Kimber, as well as the fact that its quick and easy to put on and take off!

With the Tucker, the clips ride on your belt, and your shirt tucks down between the back of the clips and the holster ... completely concealing the holster and firearm. Just blouse your shirt a little, and the clips are covered as well.

My Two Cents...
"And I'll add MY two cents: I got a Tucker Texas Heritage IWB for my G22. I've worn it every day ever since, about 6 months now I think. It is so comfortable I forget it's there. It is secure, and conceals beautifully, even with a full-size auto , with the shirt tucked. And that doesn't mean a fluffy flannel, I wear it with a white dress shirt in the office too. See the Tonerguy above. Service is excellent and personal. Not cheap but worth every penny. And I'm not getting any kickbacks, folks!"

"I'll also give a two thumbs up for the Tucker's Heritage IWB. It arrived last week to replace my Kramer IWB for my Sig 225. I put it on, and it was like the 225 had melted into the side of my body. It tucks into my body a lot tighter than the Kramer. The Heritage is comfortable, and even now I'm wearing it. Usually when I got in the house, the Kramer came off.

Considering the fact that I'm vertically challenged at 5'3" and weigh 165 lbs., the Heritage works damn well for the purpose of concealment. I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed if you went with the Tucker Heritage."

It is SO comfortable!
"Got my Texas Heritage IWB from Tucker Gunleather! When I pulled in to my driveway I noticed the box on my porch. My heart started racing with excitement because I new it was my new holster. I looked for weeks before ordering this holster, and after looking at all of the popular holsters I found the Texas Heritage to be the best buy for my needs. I believe my research was right on the money!

I needed something that was, tuckable, comfortable, built to last, and at a reasonable price without a three month wait. This holster has met or exceeded my all of my expectations.

I wore it tonight and it is SO comfortable! I cannot believe I wasted money on other types of concealment holsters. Okay this may sound like an advertisement, but it is not. I promise you will not be disappointed with this holster or their service! Okay I am done gloating now." 1911Forum 01/12/2004
"I bought a Texas Heritage from Rob about 2 months ago and I absolutely love this holster. I wanted one that was tuckable and all leather, the Heritage fit all of my criteria. I am recommending Tucker to anybody that I talk to. It was money well spent!!! I forget that I even have it on now. It took some adjusting but now it is great. Rob has great customer service also."
